When it comes to yourself, it’s crucial to stay on track and keep yourself well maintained. I believe that sometimes people mistake “putting yourself first” for being selfish, and I disagree.
Your well-being and happiness should always be a priority for the simple fact that no one is going to take care of you like yourself.
I am always in constant battle with myself and my serenity, and I won’t stop finding ways to make myself happy until I genuinely feel I have reached a happy state of mind.
It is essential to feed your mind and soul the works needed to stay satisfied; besides it all relates to our health. If we are unhappy, it can lead to stress, and stress can lead to depression. The point is that taking care of yourself is a major key

Turn your cell phone off & enjoy the moments
Watch an old favorite movie
Grabbing a bottle of your favorite wine and relaxing
Clean house/organize
As for me, those listed are just a few of the many that bring me some happiness. Everything that puts a smile on our faces won’t eliminate stress and take away our problems but the most it’ll do is diffuse our stress. All that matters is that we try and find peace within ourselves.
Self-care doesn’t have to be the things listed, but as long as it relates to maintaining your well-being and happiness, that is what matters.
